Commissioning an original drawing from David Dancey-Wood has never been easier.

The opportunity to own an original by David Dancey-Wood is quite rare as his work is in great demand. Clients should be aware there is a waiting list for David's originals, and waiting times may be lengthy.

​

To begin with, just let us have some basic details about the subject you would like David to draw for you: 

​

1)  The animal/s you're looking for,

(Unfortunately, David does not draw any   domestic animals or people) 

2)  Approximate size of the final framed drawing,

3)  Where you are intending to hang the picture,

4)  Any specific details that you require for the drawing. 

5)  Any deadline you need us to work towards.

 

We will pass your inquiry to David for you and he will then let us have a price and timescale for your drawing.

It's not possible to estimate a price for you without discussing your requirements with David first.

Usually, David will need to speak to you himself to fully discuss your requirements and confirm all the details with you before starting work.

​

Before work on your new commission begins a contract is drawn up between the client and David and a deposit needs to be paid.

 

 

David Dancey-Wood retains all copyrights for his drawings and preparatory works unless a copyright contract is negotiated beforehand.

 

 

All original drawings are fully insured, until collection by, or delivery to, the customer.

​

Postage and shipping are by reputable courier only, and all shipments are fully insured.
